Full Day
  • Our Full Time Preschool Program is a year round full day program serving children beginning at age three to kindergarten. This program is designed to provide a structured educational experience in a supported family atmosphere. Our focus for all children is to develop skills that reflect the ability to relate to peers and adults in a positive way. We are committed to providing our pre-k children with all of the academic skills that will lead to success in kindergarten. We believe that early literacy development for all children, along with the arts, math, science, imagination, problem-solving skills and decision making are key to a successful foundation for learning.

part time program

  • Our Part Time Preschool program is designed for families who are seeking an early childhood program either two or three mornings per week.

2 Day Class

The 2 Day Class is for children who are age three by September first . Typically, this is a child's first early childhood experience introducing children to a classroom setting .The focus of this class is to develop social skills, ability to follow directions, self help skills and lengthening of attention span. The "threes" are a great time to begin to develop these lifetime skills and refine them in the Pre-K Class. While we strive towards development in the social realm, we are following all Dept. Of Ed. Standards in the areas of early literacy, math, the arts and sciences, all of which contribute to the develop of the whole child.

Pre-K Class

The Pre-K Class is for children who are four years of age before September first. This is typically the child's second early childhood experience, however, for some it may be their first. In this class social skill development becomes more complex. Not only is sharing and give and take important but respect, tolerance, personal responsibility and embracing differences play a large role in who we are and how we learn. At Smart Start team work is a concept that is intertwined in our social curriculum. Academically we are preparing the children for kindergarten. Early literacy components of reading, writing and representation play a major role in later success in education . We emphasize the basic concepts in math that lay foundations for formal concepts, the wonders and imagination of science, life skills and the arts that bring a rhythm and creativity to all that we do.

There are two options available for the Pre-K Class:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 9:00-12-00
or join us for Lunch Bunch from 9:00-1:00
